Help
The engraver does not connect
- Check that the engraver is switched on and its light is on.
- Close other programs that use it, such as the NEJE app, and other tabs with this page.
- Unplug the USB cable, wait a few seconds and plug it back in.
- Try another USB port or cable.
- On Windows, install the CH340 serial driver. Installing the CH340 driver (opens in a new tab)
Engravings are blurry or shifted
- Focus: set the laser 30–50 mm above the material (usually 40 mm) and turn the focus cap until the dot is as small as possible.
- Shifted or skewed lines usually mean a loose belt. Tighten it at its two adjustment points, as described in the NEJE manual. A slower motor speed on the Machine tab can also help.
- With the machine off, check that the head moves freely by hand and that its cable does not pull it.
- Use the test patterns on the Image tab to check focus and mechanics.
